Keep Your Content Updated

Like most SEO professionals, nothing wrecks my digestive system more than an organic traffic drop with no apparent reason. Social media platforms have all but taken over, and when it comes to SEO, they are a huge part of the strategy for any campaign. On regular pages and posts, Google will most probably grab a piece of related content, including the keyword used in the search query. That makes a lot of sense for news sites, for example. Still, I recommend adding a meta description to all your important pages. When you're ready to scale your strategy, consider hiring a professional SEO agency or a highly skilled independent contractor.

Start simple, but don’t skip this step.

The longer and more specific the keywords are, the higher your chances of ranking for this keyword. Of course, this also means that the search volume for this keyword decreases, but you can compensate for this by optimizing a lot of pages on your site for different long tail keywords. More and more we are seeing the use of keyword clustering from sites that are making it beyond the scope of mediocre search results and traffic margins. The pages have to create unique enough value that they can be distinguished from other similar pages by the search engines. Lacking that intrinsic value, they will have to be distinguished by inbound linkage. “Dwell time” is the amount of time visitors spend on your website and it can affect SEO ranking. When you provide useful content, visitors tend to stay longer on your website to consume the information and therefore increase the dwell time.

Do not hesitate to expand your niche area

As long as you’re playing by the rules, there’s no significant danger that you'll earn a penalty or damage your reputation in the process. Low-quality links can lead to a higher bounce rate and click-through rates, which can eventually degrade the ranking of your site on search engines. f you are familiar with Google’s algorithm, you are aware that it is predicated based off of backlinks. This is simply a hyperlink on an external website that links back to your website. Web pages must contain a minimum number of words, feature targeted keywords and highlight local modifiers to ensure they appear prominently in relevant, organic search results.

Keep Your Content Updated

The recent statistics show that there are over 1.2 billion websites hosted on the internet today. And, there are also numerous websites that are competing for specific keywords on popular search engines. Customers today are on mobile for a large part of their digital experience. More searches today take place on mobile. Compared to desktop, mobile devices now account for 65 percent of all digital time spent. All content produced should serve the needs of customers on these devices through responsive web design, fast mobile load times, page navigation and layouts that reflect the needs of mobile users. In the eyes of Google, you’ll earn a higher authority by having a better-functioning site, such as one that’s optimized for mobile devices, loads quickly, and has an optimized internal navigation structure. Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull, had the following to say: "A title tag is used by search engines to display a page in search results and can also be found at the top of your browser. Title tags tell search engines and searchers what the page is about."

Include your target keyword within your URL

It may not be a good idea to link to the website from footers or sidebars. On-page SEO is the practice of optimizing individual web pages in order to rank higher and earn more relevant traffic in search engines. On-page refers to both the content and HTML source code of a page that can be optimized, as opposed to off-page SEO which refers to links and other external signals. Search engines like aged domains, and give them more authority over newer sites. Google is famously secretive about how it ranks local businesses.
